Material Description & Core Benefit Ideal Application
Manganese Steel (Standard) Our High Manganese Steel (e.g., Mn18Cr2, Mn22Cr2) is the industry standard for high-impact applications. Its core benefit is work-hardening—the surface hardens rapidly upon impact, extending durability while the core remains tough and fracture-resistant. Primary crushing of hard, tough rock like granite and basalt, or high-volume demolition concrete.
Martensitic / Low Chrome Steel This alloy provides an excellent balance between toughness and abrasion resistance. It offers higher hardness than standard Manganese steel, making it ideal for medium-impact conditions where improved wear life is desired. Medium-impact applications, mixed material crushing, and areas requiring less work-hardening.

Manganese Steel with Titanium Carbides (TiC) Inserts An innovative composite solution. Chrome with Ceramic A superior Metal Matrix Composite (MMC). Martensitic / Low Chrome with Ceramic Combining a tougher Martensitic matrix with ceramic inserts. This alloy is the best choice for conditions with a moderate level of impact and significant abrasion. The Martensitic body resists breakage, and the ceramics fight wear. Crushing mixed materials (e.g., C&D waste, concrete with rebar), or applications where standard ceramic blow bars are prone to fracturing.

By embedding TiC inserts—a material renowned for its high hardness and chemical stability—into a Manganese or Alloy steel matrix, we create a bar that simultaneously offers:
